The OneStage team

We think it is important that our clients know who they are communicating with. The OneStage Team has a passion for music, we all play or sing in various ensembles and have an amazing variety of languages in the office for such a small team, including French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Finnish!

We try to meet all of our clients at least once during the organisation of their tour, usually somewhere in Europe during an inspection visit or at your UK location.

For anyone who hasn’t met us yet , here we are, looking relaxed at some of our training days and during our more official outings with suppliers.

And here you can meet us individually:

Pippy Trentham – Operations Director

Sonia Yardley – Sales Director

Sonia enjoys playing the clarinet (the alto sax comes out of its case from time to time) and grew up playing with Ealing Youth Orchestra.  Sonia is now a regular member of Hounslow Symphony Orchestra and has recently been playing in operas staged by Thames Philharmonia (the Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni).

My children are engaged with Hounslow Music Service ensembles and my husband, Barry, plays with West London Sinfonia, in West London Brass as well as any other gig he can take on at the weekend. There is a lot of music in the house all of the time.

Sonia has over 20 years of music touring experience and speaks German and Finnish.

Julian Edwards – Sales Manager

Julian has nearly 25 years experience in music touring. A qualified clarinet teacher and graduate in Music & German, he’s also a member of the renowned CBSO Chorus in Birmingham.

He’s gradually ticking all the European capitals off his bucket list, but keeps returning to some old favourites, mostly in his specialist areas of  Germany and Central Europe. A fluent German speaker, he can order a drink in most European languages (and say thank you for it too..!) He’s also a bit of an aviation geek and passionate Welsh rugby fan.

 Becky Jay

Becky Jay – Sales Consultant

Becky started her musical life in Berkshire, as a violinist and violist in orchestras and chamber ensembles. She has always loved travelling, went on to Southampton University to study French and Spanish, which enabled her to spend lots of time discovering France, Spain, and Latin America. While studying, she played in the university symphony orchestra and continues to play with many of these musicians in the Academy of St Mary Le Bow chamber ensemble, based in central London.

Laura Patrick – Tour Consultant

Laura grew up in Sardinia, where there’s a very strong and long tradition for folk music in lingo. My dad was a bass and funded one of the island’s most famous folk male choirs, who are still performing today. Music was therefore always part of Laura’s life and she has sung in church choirs since she was little.

Laura has a talent and passion for languages: learning English at the age of 6, then French, Spanish and German from 12. Laura also studied languages and tourism at school; lived in the US for a year, Spain for two summers, France for two years and has resided in the UK for 17 years.

Elisabeth Walker – Concert Tour Operator

Elisabeth speaks German and French, and takes every opportunity to travel and keep up with her languages! Over the last few years, Liz has been lucky enough to teach and study in France, Germany and Austria.

Liz plays the piano and sings with the Southern Spirit Singers, who tour every year. They had a great tour with OneStage last year to Slovenia and Croatia and are looking forward to enjoying a bit of sun this year in Italy!

 Giulia Messina

Giulia Messina – Concert Tour Operator

Giulia has organised concert tours in Italy, Hungary, France, Malta and Cataluña with OneStage since 2015. After graduating in Translation in Siena, she took her Tourism MA in Rome in 2014. Along with English and Italian (mother tongue) Giulia speaks French and Spanish and knows a bit of German and Japanese.

Giulia is a singer and has performed with several bands in Italy and takes part in open mic and jam sessions in London. Giulia has travelled pretty much everywhere in Italy, visited France, Spain, Hungary, Germany and is planning to visit Mexico in 2018!

Leo Diebel – Concert Tour Operator

Formerly of Bath University’s premier a cappella group, Aquapella, Leo chose a career in music travel over spending all of his time singing in close-harmony. A speaker of German, Russian and (conversational) French, he loves to operate tours to where he used to live by Lake Constance, as well as any new areas with venues and excursions to explore. He spends most of his spare time planning which destination is next on his holiday list and singing with a new a cappella group in London

Georgina Lucas – Concert Tour Operator

Georgina is mainly interested in French-speaking European countries and Italy, having spent time in Provence, Strasbourg, Milan, Trento and Florence over the past three years. Georgina speaks French, Italian and a bit of German, and when she’s not travelling, plays the violin and loves to sing.
