Musique en scène Loire, our first in-house music festival has been and gone this summer with 230 young musicians performing 16 concerts in the Loire Valley. The concerts have been well received by local people with comments about the high standard of music-making received from venues across the region.
Almost 3000 people came to watch our series of concerts and our young musicians were warmly welcomed in each town they visited. Multiple standing ovations and encores mean that we're delighted we'll be back in 2020 with our second festival in the Loire.
A huge thank you to all the participants in this year's festival and to our partners in the Loire for their enthusiasm and support.
