The choir and orchestra from Radley College travelled to Madrid for four nights in February visiting sights including the Prado museum and the Bernabéu stadium. They sang in Segovia Cathedral, a beautiful church in Madrid and at an international school. Here's what they had to say:
"A wonderful tour. From the very first moments, it was clear that our tour to Madrid was going to be a special experience. The organisation was impeccable, the excursions perfectly chosen, the accommodation perfect and the food outstanding. Most importantly, we performed in stunning venues to huge, enthusiastic audiences. From Mass and a Concert in Segovia Cathedral, to performances to local schoolchildren and a performance in one of Madrid's finest churches, this was an inspiring opportunity for our choirs, orchestras and chamber ensembles. The boys loved the trip, forming lifelong memories. Having organised many tours in the past, I struggle to remember one that went so well - and this owes much to the excellent support from OneStage and our excellent tour manager in Madrid. The 68 musicians have returned tired, inspired and happy. A model tour - and, like any good tour, the positive impact on the music department at Radley will last for a long time to come. Thank you!"
