The Harz region straddles the former East/West German border, and is a land of deep valleys, half-timbered houses, narrow cobbled streets and mysterious castles, all of which inspired many of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. The combination of spa towns, castles and surrounding forest with excellent venues mean that this region has all the ingredients for a fantastic music tour.
